SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. – Spokane County leaders are actively addressing concerns about "forever chemicals" in the local water supply. The PFAS Task Force convened Wednesday evening at the Spokane County Sheriff Training Center to discuss their next steps.
West Plains resident Scott Mericle voiced his concerns about the ongoing issue.
"You know, we still shower and brush our teeth, wash our dishes, wash our clothes… in PFAS water because we can't get around it," Mericle said.
