Most of them were casual staff who had not been paid minimum shift amounts, or underpaid penalty rates.

The university must also make a $130,000 "contrition payment" to the federal government under an Enforceable Undertaking agreed to with the Fair Work Ombudsman (FWO).

Part of the undertaking will be the establishment of a new consultative bod
