EXCLUSIVE: It has been described as “Dexter meets Bad Sisters” and we can share the bloody trailer for Season 2 of Obituary , the dark comedy crime drama that is for Ireland’s RTÉ and Hulu in the U.S.

Siobhán Cullen reprises her role as Elvira Clancy, an obituary writer on a small-town Irish newspaper turned murderer. “Is he alive,” a blood-spattered Elvira asks as she has her mugshot taken inside a police station. “Not remotely,” deadpans the officer holding the camera. Her voiceover sets the scene further: “I’m about to become the chief suspect in a murder case, and I didn’t even do this one.”

Extraordinary star Máiréad Tyers has joined the cast for Season 2 of the show, which is filmed in Ireland.
