WARREN Detectives are investigating after a child was wounded on Warren's Northwest side late Wednesday.
Officials received a report of gunfire along the Roosevelt NW, west of North Park Avenue, before 10 p.m.
Nine police cruisers and an ambulance were called to an address after learning that an 11-year-old boy had been shot in the hand. The child was taken to a hospital for treatment of the wound.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
