Former Led Zeppelin lead singer Robert Plant is releasing a new album this week.
Plant’s “Saving Grace” is set to be released on Friday, Sept. 26. The album marks his first full-length studio album release in eight years.
The record will feature singer Suzi Dian, drummer Oli Jefferson, guitarist Tony Kelsey, banjo and string player Matt Worley, and cellist Barney Morse-Brown, who make up the lineup of Plant’s backing band, Saving Grace, for whom the album is named after, according to Ultimate Classic Rock .
Plant first began working on the album during the COVID-19 lockdown, when he “connected closely to this diverse group of musicians,” according to his official Instagram .
Mixing folk and blues, the album’s lineup of songs includes a cover of “Everybody’s Song” by Low.
