The Dehradun Warriors were well served by a robust bowling department in the Uttarakhand Premier League. Although their batting drew eyeballs at times, the bowlers tended to win games for them. Two names stood out earlier also were, – Devendra Singh Bora and Mayank Mishra – who not only picked up wickets but also offered vital spells that kept the Warriors in the running throughout the tournament.

Devendra Singh Bora: The Breakthrough Specialist

For the Warriors, the most promising name of this season was right-arm medium pacer Devendra Singh Bora. In five matches that he played, he managed to take eight wickets at an average of about 15.5. His best return was 3 for 32, which establishes the fact that he is capable of making multiple strikes in a single match.
