Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday announced major organisational appointments ahead of crucial state elections, naming Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Vice President Baijayant Panda as election in-charges for Bihar and Tamil Nadu, respectively.
Bihar is expected to go to polls in November this year, while elections in Tamil Nadu are likely be held in March-April next year. ADVERTISEMENT
Notably, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has handled the party’s responsibility in Haryana for the 2024 and Uttar Pradesh elections, besides overseeing polls previously in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Karnataka.
