Siddipet: The family members of P Chandram (35), a farmer who died of a heart attack, staged a protest at the residence of Kathula Bhaskar Reddy in Pothareddipally village of Cheriyal mandal on Thursday, accusing him of cheating.

The relatives alleged that Chandram had borrowed money from Bhaskar Reddy by registering a piece of his land in Bhaskar Reddy’s name on the assurance that it would be returned after repayment. However, they claimed that even after Chandram cleared the debt, Bhaskar Reddy refused to transfer the land back. Distressed
