Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride (85) makes the touch catch in front of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dee Winters (53) during the second half at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sept. 21, 2025.

Every team in the NFC West has a winning record entering Week 4. That won't be true following "Thursday Night Football," barring a tie between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals.

The Cardinals (2-1) host the Seahawks (2-1) at State Farm Stadium in a battle that will be an early indication of which team is better poised to challenge the undefeated San Francisco 49ers at the top of the NFC West.

Arizona is coming off a last-second loss at the hands of San Francisco. The Cardinals' defense – which has allowed the fourth-fewest points league-wide – performed well in the defeat, but Arizona's offense struggled to consistently generate yardage and points while losing James Conner to a season-ending ankle injury.

As for Seattle, Sam Darnold has performed well through three weeks and has helped lead the Seahawks to back-to-back wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints. Mike Macdonald's defense ranks 10th league-wide in defensive EPA, so the Seahawks look poised to have a well-balanced team in 2025.

The Cardinals vs. Seahawks game is expected to be a coin-flip outcome, with oddsmakers projecting the two teams to have relatively even odds to bring home a win.

As always, experienced NFL bettors won't just be looking at the spread for Thursday's game. They will also be looking for intriguing prop bets and touchdown scorers to back in a game that features a couple of strength-on-weakness matchups.

What are the best bets for "Thursday Night Football" in Week 4? Here are the best props and anytime TD bets to consider as the Cardinals and Seahawks begin the week with a key NFC West battle.

Thursday Night Football best bets

All odds are via BetMGM as of Thursday.

Trey Benson 25+ receiving yards (-105)

Benson's over/under receiving total is 19.5, but comes with -150 odds. That makes backing Benson to get 25-plus receiving yards the better bet on "TNF."

The Seahawks have surrendered a league-high 234 receiving yards to running backs this season. Two of the three lead-backs they have faced – Christian McCaffrey (73 yards) and Jaylen Warren (86 yards) – have blown by this 25-yard figure.

Benson played 60.6% of Arizona's offensive snaps last week after James Conner went down with a season-ending ankle injury. He figures to once again get a massive workload and should be able to catch plenty of checkdowns from Kyler Murray.

Trey McBride OVER 6.5 receptions (+100)

McBride has yet to post seven-plus receptions in a game this season, but he could do so against the Seahawks. Seattle has allowed 24 receptions to tight ends this season, tied for the most in the NFL with the Chicago Bears.

Comparatively, Seattle's 28 receptions allowed to wide receivers this year are the third-fewest allowed by a team through three weeks. The Seahawks' tough play against outside receivers coupled with Marvin Harrison Jr.'s slow start to the 2025 NFL season should encourage Murray to look McBride's way more often than he already has.

McBride is averaging eight targets per game this season, good for third-most among NFL tight ends behind Jake Ferguson (10.7) and Juwan Johnson (9.3).

Sam Darnold OVER 220.5 passing yards (-115)

The Cardinals have only allowed 17 points per game to open the 2025 NFL season, but they have been one of the NFL's weaker teams against the pass. Arizona has allowed 826 passing yards to opposing quarterbacks, second-most in the NFL behind only the Dallas Cowboys (900).

Notably, the three quarterbacks Arizona has faced thus far in 2025 are Spencer Rattler, Bryce Young and Mac Jones. None are exactly world-beaters, so Darnold – who presently ranks as Pro Football Focus' No. 1 overall quarterback – could be in for a big game after averaging 221 passing yards over his first three starts in Seattle.

Kyler Murray anytime TD scorer (+275)

Conner handled four of the Cardinals' 10 red-zone carries to open the season. Benson figures to take on the bulk of that workload with the veteran out, but Murray could also be tasked with using his legs more near the goal-line.

Murray has averaged 6.7 carries per game entering Week 4, vastly out-pacing his 4.6 carries per game from last season and putting him on pace for his highest such average since 2020 (8.3). He may not power his way into the end-zone like some bigger-bodied quarterbacks might, but his volume makes him an intriguing play against a Seahawks defense that has yet to play a quarterback with upper-echelon mobility.
