Along with this move, it has also announced a USD 100 million joint venture with Indian electronics manufacturer Optiemus Infracom Ltd.
According to the official statement, this partnership is expected to create over 1,800 jobs in India over the next three years.
With this collaboration, India will not only serve as the headquarters for CMF's manufacturing, but will also play a central role in transforming the country into a global hub for smartphone production and exports.
