It's the time of year when drying laundry becomes an absolute pain.

With the warmer weather behind us, it's sometimes not worth hanging clothes outside, but it's not cold enough for central heating either.

And with the cost of living crisis eating into everyone's budget, nobody wants to be turning up the thermostat unnecessarily.

A heated airer is my go-to, but I've found a way of helping clothes dry on that even quicker too.

It was last year when I first discovered the little-known tip for speeding up the drying process when a social media post went viral.
