Joe Cole reckons Elliot Anderson's stint at Nottingham Forest has an expiry date, with the midfielder destined for bigger things in his career. The England newcomer delivered another outstanding display on the continental stage as his team were held by Real Betis.

Forest were robbed of victory in Spain by a late Antony equaliser, but the former Newcastle star still demonstrated his class in the engine room. Anderson has continued to make massive progress and shone as the Nottingham side clinched European football last term.

Manchester United are amongst the clubs reportedly monitoring him as they seek to fix their weaknesses in that midfield department. Anderson's performances grabbed Thomas Tuchel's notice and the Forest player recently earned his first Three Lions cap.
