WEST VIEW, Pa. —

A recent graduate from North Hills High School has died following a multi-vehicle crash near West View.

The crash happened a little after 6 a.m. at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Cornell Avenue, right near where Ross Township and West View meet.

According to officials, three vehicles were stopped in the left-hand lane of Highland Avenue. The third vehicle in that line tried to pass the vehicles ahead of it by driving into the oncoming lane of traffic.

Officials say the first vehicle then tried to make a left turn onto Cornell Avenue, causing the two vehicles to collide.
