The BJP on Thursday appointed senior leader and Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan as its election in-charge for Bihar ahead of the crucial Assembly polls.
The party also named senior leaders CR Patil, Keshav Prasad Maurya and Murlidhar Mohol as co-incharges, further strengthening its organisational setup in the state.
Pradhan, a close aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, had earlier served as the BJP’s election in-charge for Odisha and Haryana, where he played a key role in securing major victories for the party.
