Defending champions India maintained their unbeaten streak in the ongoing Asia Cup with a 41-run win over Bangladesh, storming into the final. Left-arm spinner Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers on Wednesday night with remarkable bowling figures of 3/18 in 4 overs.
Kuldeep received the team’s Impact Player of the Match medal, presented by analyst Hari Prasad Mohan. In a video shared by the BCCI on social media, the analyst heaped praise on the left-arm wrist spinner for troubling the opponents with his variations.
“The Impact Player Award goes to someone who showcased serious skills with the ball. In the modern-day T20 cricket, not many players display spin, drift, and dip with such remarkable consistency. So, the award goes to none other than, Kuldeep Yadav," said Mohan.
