A suspect is in custody after a threat near a high school in Lacey Wednesday.

Officers were sent to reports of a threat involving a firearm in the area of Timberline High School.

Schools in Lacey put into lockdown, lockout

The high school was immediately put on lockdown, while a nearby school was put in a lockout, according to the Lacey Police Department.

A suspect was found and taken into custody. The lockdown and lockout were subsequently lifted.

The police department stated there is no further threat, and officers are continuing
