Former Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Ben Sauls is signing a deal with the Atlanta Falcons to join their practice squad. Sauls had an impressive preseason with the team.

Sauls went 4 of 4, including two kicks from 49 and 50 yards, respectively, against the Panthers in the team’s final preseason game. His efforts were so impressive that head coach Mike Tomlin gave him a shoutout in his postgame press conference, understanding that Sauls may have just earned himself a job elsewhere.

“Really happy for Ben Sauls, the work he was able to show us tonight, man. Good for him,” Tomlin said of the kicker.
