A 16-year-old girl killed in a crash with her boyfriend early Saturday morning was remembered in her obituary as a “beacon of light and joy to everyone fortunate enough to have known her.”
Brielle Mae-Rose Raposo and Cameren Gutter, 15, both of Fall River, were killed when the KIA sedan they were in crashed into the median on Interstate 195 in Dartmouth shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday.
Raposo was born on Halloween in 2008 in New Bedford and quickly showed herself to be a “gifted and talented young woman with a myriad of interests and hobbies,” according to her obituary. She loved sports and played baseball, T-ball, softball and basketball, on top of gymnastics and Cheer Squad.
