The Montana Department of Transportation and Montana Materials & Construction will begin work to crack seal the Interstate 15 (I-15) bridge deck driving surface over Boulder Avenue and the BNSF railroad in Helena the week of Sept. 29, officials said Wednesday.
Crews plan to crack seal the bridge deck and then apply paint markings to both the northbound and southbound sections of the bridge. This work will occur between the Capitol area interchange (Exit 192) and Cedar Street interchange (Exit 193) and is anticipated to take about a week to complete, weather and other unforeseen factors permitting.
