Rangers fans have paid tribute to a popular Union Bear member who passed away ahead of the Europa League clash against Genk.
Supporters have flooded social media to send messages of condolence to Light Blues diehard ‘Gordo’ who they have described as “truly one of a kind”.
Hailing from the Gorbals area of Glasgow, one fellow fan wrote on X: “Really horrible news to hear this morning. Rest easy Gordo. One of life’s good guys.”
Another added: “Sad day for the Rangers lads, lost a true gent. Rest easy Gordo.”
A well known figure in the Scottish football ultras scene, he was respected by rival fans. One St Mirren supporter wrote on X: “Thoughts with everyone at Rangers on hearing the news. RIP Gordo.”
