Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting in the northwest part of the city.

Police say officers were dispatched to a home on the 6300 block of Pastorcito Drive NW for a report of a disturbance and gunshots early Thursday morning.

Police say when officers arrived to the scene they found one person dead inside of the home.

Homicide detectives are investigating. No information has been released about a suspect at this time.
