Defence Minister Rajnath Singh let out one of India’s best kept nuclear secrets with a post on X. He announced the first of its kind launch of a 2000-km range canisterised Agni-Prime on September 24. The missile was launched from a ‘ specially designed rail mobile launcher, has the capability to move on rail network, without any pre-conditions that allows users to have cross-country mobility and launch within a short reaction time with reduced visibility’.
