CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Thursday, the Chester County Council addresses potential fraud, criminal activity complaints within the Richburg Fire Protection District.

The Chester County Council announced Thursday that it has received information about potentially fraudulent and or criminal activity within the Richburg Fire Protection District.

The Council says the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division will do a full investigation.

Chester County Administrator Brian Hester said, “Our firefighters put their lives on the line for the people of Chester County, and nothing in these allegations changes that fact.”
