New poll: Charlie Kirk assassination raises concerns of political violence

93% of Democrats, 84% of Independents and 60% of Republicans say the US is in a political crisis.

The poll found that 71% of voters (including 72% of Republicans and 74% of Democrats) think politically motivated violence in the U.S. today is a very serious problem.

53% of voters are pessimistic about freedom of speech being protected in the United States.

Following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk , 79% of voters say the United States is in a political crisis, revealed a new Quinnipiac University poll released Sept. 24.
