The English Football League has ruled that the Blackburn Rovers vs Ipswich Town match must be replayed in its entirety, despite the initial game being abandoned in the 79th minute due to a waterlogged pitch at Ewood Park. ‌

At the time of abandonment , Blackburn held a 1-0 lead thanks to Todd Cantwell's second-half penalty, while Ipswich were a man down after Jacob Greaves' dismissal. ‌
