In July 2025, the company said it would be closing 90 mobile-only stores , including two in Florida.

The changes are part of the company's Back to Starbucks plan with the "goal for every coffeehouse to deliver a warm and welcoming space with a great atmosphere and a seat for every occasion," said Chairman and CEO Brian Niccol.
