Following intense rainfall in upstream catchment areas, the Godavari River is witnessing a surge in water levels across Telangana. Major projects like Sriram Sagar, Sripada Yellampalli, and Medigadda barrage are receiving heavy inflows, with flood levels breaching 7 lakh cusecs at Sammakka Sagar and Bhadrachalam.
