Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is one of CBS’s biggest shows from 2025, and one of the biggest new sitcoms that the network has aired since The Neighborhood started back in 2018.

As such, it would make sense for the show’s creators to drag out its run for as long as possible. Young Sheldon ’s ratings were still stellar when the series ended back in 2024, but that prequel to The Big Bang Theory always had to end with its seventh season. The original show had already canonically confirmed George Sr.’s death.
