Five years after Gerard Butler starred in Greenland , the film’s official sequel just got its first trailer. STX Films has finally debuted the first trailer for Greenland: Migration , which is coming to theaters early next year on January 9 . Butler co-stars in the film alongside Morena Baccarin — the duo also starred in the first Greenland together in 2020. The first film follows a family who struggles for survival in the middle of a cataclysmic event, but they ultimately make it to the safety of a bunker. In the sequel, they’re forced to evacuate the bunker and traverse out into the wasteland to find a new home.
