Emma Watson, loved by fans from across the world for her role of Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter films, has finally revealed why she decided to step away from acting after 2018’s Little Women. In a recent chat, the actress admitted that her Hollywood journey after Harry Potter was not what she imagined, adding that the “highly competitive environment" of the industry actually “broke" her.

In her absence from the screen for a while, Emma explained that the shift from working on Harry Potter to working on other projects was emotionally painful.
