Third time is the charm for singer Jessica Sanchez, who went from being a runner-up on "American Idol" to champion of "America's Got Talent" on Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Ten years ago, Sanchez finished runner-up on season 11 of "American Idol" when she was 16 years old. The following year, she released her album, "Me, You & the Music" in 2013.

The 30-year-old first competed on AGT during its first season when she was 10 years old.

The California native was named the winner of "America's Got Talent" following the fan vote for season 20. She won both the title and a whopping $1 million prize.

Sanchez, who is nine months pregnant, was visibly emotional upon the big announcement.

"This is amazing! Thank you so much," she said.
