MUSKEGON, MI - Two developments bringing more than 200 new apartments to the city of Muskegon moved forward this week.
Development and reimbursement agreements were approved Tuesday, Sept. 23 by the Muskegon City Commission for both the Muskegon-Central Park apartments and the second phase of the Lakeview Lofts.
Between the two developments, more than 200 new apartment units will be built in the city, helping to relieve a looming housing shortage Muskegon has faced in the last several years .
The Lakeview Lofts development is on the corner of Western Avenue and Second Street in downtown Muskegon.
The developer, 351 Phase II LLC, will construct a mixed-use development adjacent to the first phase of Lakeview Lofts, which was completed in 2019.
