COAL VALLEY, Ill. (KWQC) - A wrong-way pickup truck crashed into a semi-truck Thursday morning near Coal Valley.

A pickup truck was driving east in the westbound lanes when in crashed into a semi-truck at 3:50 a.m. on I-74 near mile marker 12, according to Illinois State Police.

A KWQC crew could see a semi-truck in the median and a pickup truck on a flatbed tow truck around 5:30 a.m.

One lane of westbound I-74 was blocked but later reopened, officials said.
