COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Police activity has closed a portion of Cobb Parkway near Circle 75 Parkway/Spring Road in Cobb County.

What we know:

FOX 5 Atlanta reached out to Cobb County Police and were told that the Georgia State Patrol is the lead agency in the investigation.

We have a crew on the way to the scene and we are waiting for a response from GSP.

SKYFOX5 flew over the scene and could see a car covered by a blue tarp and shielded from view by screens.

Multiple southbound lanes are closed and drivers will probably want to avoid the area.
