TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — AAA research confirms an increase in aggressive driving on Idaho roads.
“96% of the people we spoke to admitted to aggressive driving behavior,” said Public Affairs Director Matthew Conde.
According to a new survey conducted by AAA Idaho, most drivers admit to displaying aggressive behavior on the roads within the last year.
Aggressive driving can range from cutting off other drivers, tailgating, verbally attacking drivers, plus more and AAA’s research shows a sharp increase in that kind of behavior.
“Unfortunately, that translates to a lot of injuries and harm because we know that 49% of the crashes last year in Idaho involved aggressive driving, and we know that 75 people died as a result of aggressive driving crashes,” said Conde.
