SOUTH RYEGATE, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - The search is underway for two Bradford, VT residents that are considered armed and dangerous, state police claim.

An investigation was initially launched into an alleged road rage incident September 20. That situation reportedly resulted in gunfire on US Route 302.

It was based on that investigation that troopers obtained arrest warrants for 33-year-old Kayla Cabey and 36-year-old Justin French. Both are considered armed and dangerous.

They face charges of reckless endangerment, criminal threatening and attempted murder.

The pair is known to frequent Washington, Orange and Caledonia Counties, and "have strong ties" to Grafton County in New Hampshire.
