In 2025, a multitude of chain stores and restaurants have announced the closing of some, if not all, of their locations. Delaware-born Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant is now part of those closures.

The chain closed all 16 of its locations on Sept. 25, including two in South Carolina.

The longstanding brewery and restaurant chain sent an email to customers around 9:45 a.m. on September 25, entitled "Iron Hill is permanently closed."
