Police have charged a teenage adult in connection with a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist in Hartford in April.

Michael Grady, 18, of Hartford was arrested Wednesday by the Hartford Police Department ’s Greater Hartford Auto Theft Task Force, according to Lt. Aaron Boisvert.

He faces charges of reckless driving, evading responsibility involving death and operating without a license. His bail was set at $150,000, Boisvert said.

The charges come after officers responded to the area of 2222 Main St. on April 7 just after 7:30 p.m. on the report of a bicyclist being struck by a vehicle, according to Boisvert. Emergency crews found the bicyclist in the road unresponsive.
