Carnie Wilson is on the road to recovery after being hospitalized with complications from her lap-band removal surgery.

“OK, the official update. My daughter’s getting a prescription for me right now, but I am out of the hospital,” Wilson, 57, shared via Instagram on Wednesday, September 24. “I had my lap-band surgery. It was a great success. Thank you Dr. Billy. But I had some swelling in the legs that kept getting worse.”

The cofounder of Wilson Phillips said she needed to go back into the hospital because of high blood pressure.

“It was very scary, but after a couple of days there, we changed the med,” she revealed. “And the swelling has gone down and, like, almost gone, and I am finally over this hump recovering from my lap-band removal.”
