LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio. (WSAZ) - A Lawrence County man has been convicted of 10 counts of sexual battery, according to the Lawrence County Prosecutor Brigham M. Anderson.

Michael E. Bishop II was convicted after a two-day jury trial ended Sept. 24 in the Lawrence County Common Pleas Court, Anderson said.

Anderson said Bishop faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison on each count and will be required to register as Tier III sex offender for life.

His sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 22 at 8 a.m.
