(KBTX) - The Snook varsity football team will forfeit the remainder of its season, due to injuries that have hamstrung the program and the youth of the available players, head coach and athletic director Nolan Lanham confirmed with KBTX.
The team will compete at the junior varsity level for the remainder of the season, Lanham told KBTX.
“This comes after careful consideration and is a tough decision, but based on the number and severity of previous injuries and out of an abundance of caution for our current players, we feel it is in the best interest of Snook ISD for the change to be made,” Lanham told KBTX.
