FISHERS, Ind. — A Hamilton County man has been arrested on child sex crime charges after a young girl accused him of molesting her.

Andrew J. Lamke, 70, was arrested last Friday and booked into Hamilton County Jail on five counts of felony child molestation, one count of child solicitation and one count of performing sexual conduct in front of a minor.

Fishers police began investigating Lamke on Sept. 2 when they received a report from the Department of Child Services alleging sexual misconduct with a now-10-year-old girl. The victim said the abuse had occurred since she was 7 years old, happening over a three-year span.
