Bronner Bros. , in partnership with Vivace and Red by KISS, will put Black beauty on full display and recognize its pioneers this fall, with the launch of the inaugural Beauty Icon Awards.
Set for Saturday (Oct. 11) at the Bronner Center of Performing Arts in Atlanta, the red-carpet event will transform into what organizers describe as a “live museum of beauty.” Hosted by journalist and media personality Segun Oduolowu, the event aims to become the next staple in the beauty world where legends and trailblazers coexist under one roof.
As for the honorees, 10-time Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Chaka Khan will be presented with the Beauty Icon Award for a career that has empowered generations beyond her music.
