Californians could potentially be awarded money in an AT&T settlement where the deadline to file a claim is later this fall, and with the right documentation, you could submit losses in the thousands of dollars.

There are two settlement classes Californians could be eligible for (or potentially, both), corresponding to two separate incidents of data breaches announced last year that prompted litigation.

AT&T has denied the claims alleged in the lawsuit and denies any wrongdoing, according to a news release from Kroll Settlement Administration.
