3 JU faculty members feature in Stanford–Elsevier top 2% scientists list 2025

Jammu, Sep 25: Three faculty members from the University of Jammu have been named in the prestigious Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List 2025, highlighting their global impact in nanotechnology and environmental sciences, the university said Thursday.

As per a statement issued by the university, compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, this database is regarded as one of the most comprehensive global assessments of scientific excellence and influence.

It evaluates researchers across 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields on the basis of parameters such as the H-index, total citations, and a composite indicator of career-long research impact.

Those honoured from the university include Dr Sandeep Arya, recognised for his work in nanoscience and nanotechnology;
