Mark Wahlberg expects big things from the New England Patriots.

New England is 1-2 to start the Mike Vrabel era, but Wahlberg still has high hopes for the 2025 season. The Hollywood star and Boston native made a bold declaration while appearing on ESPN’s “First Take” on Thursday to promote his new movie, “Play Dirty.”

“We’re going to the playoffs,” Wahlberg told Stephen A. Smith. “I believe in Vrabel.”

Wahlberg felt the Patriots should have defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday despite surrendering five turnovers . They outgained their opponents by 166 yards in the frustrating Week 3 loss.
