MIDDLEBURG — Veyda Trego notched the first multi-goal game of her varsity career, and Kylie Brown added a goal and two assists to lead Midd-West in a 5-1 nonleague field hockey victory over Muncy on Wednesday.

The Mustangs (5-3-1) forged a 3-0 halftime lead behind goals from seniors Kinzee Batdorf and Brown as well as freshman Trego. In the fourth quarter, Trego scored her second goal with Brown's second assist of the game. Brown, a Mansfield commit, upped her assist total to a career-best five while boosting her varsity points to 66 in three seasons.
