High school football kicked off last week in North Bay with senior and junior action.

The West Ferris Senior Trojans football team made a big statement on the field Sept. 19 during their home opener when they beat the St. Joseph Scollard Hall Bears 40-12.

In junior action it was a different result.

The SJSH Bears beat the Trojans 20-7.

North Bay high school football action got underway last week.
