Syracuse, N.Y. ― Syracuse’s game against St. Joseph’s is back on; only in a different location.

The Syracuse men’s basketball team had been scheduled to play St. Joseph’s in Las Vegas on Saturday, Nov. 22. The game had been scheduled to make up for St. Joe’s voluntarily stepping out of the Players Era Festival. Syracuse is in the Players Era Festival field with games against Houston, Kansas and a to-be-determined opponent on Nov. 24-26.

However, the game’s organizers cancelled the game, forcing SU and St. Joseph’s officials to scramble to make up the game less than two months before the start of the 2025-26 season.

Instead of meeting in Las Vegas, Syracuse and St. Joe’s officials have agreed to a game at SU’s JMA Wireless Dome on Thursday, Dec. 11.
