MANHATTAN — Dylan Edwards' return to Kansas State's backfield couldn't have come soon enough.
The Wildcats' starting running back is off the injury report entirely after missing the majority of the team's four games to start the season. Come the 11 a.m. kickoff time on Saturday, Sept. 27, eyes will be on Edwards to potentially save some of the rushing woes that have plagued the team through the first third of the season.
"Any time you have a starter back, it helps tremendously," K-State offensive coordinator Matt Wells said. "He'll absolutely help the passing game, he'll help the running game, and when you can run it better, it opens up a lot more RPOs and opens up more shots."
